Not really my cup of tea at all, but very good story, well-written. Starts kind of slow, but worth the slog.

This is a spy + romance story against a horror background. I can see why it isn't categorized as horror -- none of the main characters die or suffer more than temporary harm BUT the background horror is pretty overwhelming. This was a breeze to read. Very engaging writing. Some of-the-times things sprinkled throughout that were eh.
I didn't like how all of the women who are not the damsel in distress were painted as awful. Or crazy. Mo being brilliant was nice but she also didn't have much to do except be a target.
