This has one of the least relatable female main characters ever. She spends the entire book being led around by whatever man she finds herself around. Also the main love interest r*pes her and no one seems to have a problem with it.

it’s a good book; it has a goodish plot but it focuses more on the romance aspect of the story rather than the “fantasy” one. The smut is immaculate, best i’ve ever read.

Caelum isn’t a strong main male character, his only personality and sole purpose is Estrella. He is obsessed with her even to a point where it’s concerning. At first i liked it but when every word that would come out of his mouth was overprotective/extreme jealousy, it annoyed me. PLUS Estrella didn’t even defend herself at times, she thought nothing of it.

The world building is good, it represents the purity culture really well and it shows exactly how poorly women were treated and how the men had all the power. I also liked that Estrella wasn’t brainwashed to think like that. She hd her own opinions and beliefs, even if it didn’t show when Caelum was around.

  i saw the “plot twist” coming from KILOMETERS away, it was totally predictable. that annoyed me.

I enjoyed this book and it’s fast pace, I felt that it didn’t feel rushed. I really enjoyed Caelum and Estrella’s dynamic and story. However he is a little too controlling sometimes! I guessed the ending but not the extent of a certain characters true nature. I like how Fae are villanised in this book but you do still feel slightly sorry for certain ones. I really enjoyed the world this book was set in!

Loved it. Saw the plot twist coming but it definitely wasn't how I expected it! Can't wait for book two. Plus it is 🌶️

Overhyped. The writing team promised a sexy fae romance and there was none? There is no plot and no character growth. The only reason I kept reading it was because the spicy scenes were very well done. I won’t be picking up the sequel.
