4 stars!

OHHH BOY! Caine, he's a dreamboat...yup, you read that right "DREAMBOAT!" His intensity knows no bounds and I do enjoy a enigmatic character. As for Rachel, she was great too, she gave no quarter for when it came to Caine and their future together.

The pacing of this story was spot on and I loved the buildup for their relationship. Why is it losing the 1 star? Well because the history between these two was so easy to predict...I wished some of the clues were left out so that I could have gotten that full "jaw dropping" plot twist effect. Because I was just waiting for them to know what I already knew which kind of hindered my reading experience because I seemed to be focusing on that instead of the overall narrative.

Great read, though and I will be reading more of Vi Keeland!

One - I became a fan of Vi Keeland. I love the way she writes, how she made me feel for the characters. Plus she really knows how to write a love scene.

Two - I met Professor West!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

I loved this story how it all connected, how Caine turned out to be the Angel. I just loved this book.

5 Stars from me.

Once again Vi Keeland wrote a story that sucks you in and you don't want to leave. Beautiful Mistake was nothing but a beautiful read. Caine and Rachel had this instant chemistry from the beginning, but their relationship build slowly. Caine was an interesting character. He carried a lot of guilt from his past, but I did wish we could of explore more of his past. Rachel, was just lovable. She was feisty, real, and strong. I love their banter (Vi Keeland is the master of H/h banters) it was never a dull moment between them. I loved Cain's flashbacks and realized the twist almost immediately, but it was done in a way that made me crave for more. The epilepsy was cute, but my only complaint with VI's books are the epilogues. I wished it was more. I become so involved in the stories I need more of an epilogue to get closure. Overall, an amazing read!!!!!

I wont have the popular opinion about this one but I really didn't care for Rachel. There is a quote she says "If you look up 'unstable' in the dictionary I'm pretty sure my picture would be there." Well she is right, her character was completely unstable and pathetic throughout the story. She acted more like a hormonal teenager than a 25 year old grad student. And while I thought Cain was just ok, there were some redeeming qualities about him but I still felt him to be a bit too much at times. I did like the back story or plot twist however you want to phrase it even though it was somewhat predictable.

I didn't think Vi could make me love someone more than I loved Drew, but damn Caine. This is a close first on my favorite scale of Vi's books. This hit on a spiritual note with me. I'm a person that believes in fate. My heart broke for Rachel, but I was so happy that these two figured everything out. Also, i listen to my music in a different way because of this book.

This just did not work for me. There were several times I almost gave up and dnf. It’s only my ocd with having to finish something once I start that kept me going. Rachel was not my type of h. She was a bratty child.
I’ll show you ... I’ll keep talking about screwing other guys and I’ll wear my slutty clothes to make you jealous. I mean, it’s not obvious that I’m sitting by artist guy just to tick you off.
