Soooo I just don't think I can handle teacher student relationships between a 32 year old man and a high school senior. I just cannot separate it from reality, in which it would be SO WRONG. Like I was almost prepared for the twist at the end to be her realizing she was brainwashed all along and he actually did manipulate her.
And with all her psychological issues are we really prepared to say that what she was doing was all her choice and a good idea for her to do??? NOOOOO she was extremely messed up and didn't need an ADULT MAN to take advantage of that. Like come on...learn how to say no.
Besides that extreme ick, I found the writing to be way too dramatic and pretentious. Constantly eye rolling.
