This was fun to read. Loved all the characters and their bond, and the love story part was compelling and lovely.

Everything about this graphic novel was beautiful. The images, the story, the relationships!! I’m so glad I picked it up and I was not disappointed by the reviews others had given me. Tillie Walden art style is truly breathtakingly gorgeous. The story was a little hard to get into at first but really picked up later on. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can not wait to read more!

January book for my 12-books-12-recs challenge! Thank you Eléna for recommending me this!
This was a very sweet and beautiful story, I got invested really fast and couldn't sleep until I finished. I'm not usually the one for sci-fi (ignore my Doctor Who shelf), but I loved the execution of Space in this novel.
Also, the style??? The color palette??? GORGEOUS

Another graphic novel that BLEW ME AWAY!!

“On a Sunbeam is a slow burn romance, and a found-family space opera adventure with an engaging cast of characters in a gloriously strange setting that is brilliantly original.” -Martha Wells

I couldn’t have summed up this story better myself. It’s the most unique book I’ve ever read, with beautiful illustrations, a diverse group of queer characters, AND it’s in space, AND they fly around in magnificent fish shaped ships. Tillie Walden somehow found a way to include all this awesomeness into one amazing story and everyone should read it!
