Never a big fan of Superman and I don't know about Captain Marvel at all but this was a fun read.

ok I admit that I read this for the Josh Middleton artwork, but if you're a fan of Superman or Captain Marvel, you should really check out this great team-up story

Take it from a dedicated comic book reader that recognizes when sensationalism and pan handling to 4chan dudebros, as well as a avid fan of both Clark and Billy
This book? DID THAT it's so fucking good you want a story that sums up both of these titular characters? Then Judd winnick has done gonna solid by writing this genius of a book I'm deadass rn
You can have random douchebags that claim they know stuff just bc they watched the animated movies or have the wiki pages bookmarked tell you white with their interlocking of panels from this comic you know why? BECAUSE EVERY PANEL IN THIS COMIC WAS LIT AS FUCK READ IT

Super fun, enjoyable, and light-hearted adventure with Superman and Captain Marvel meeting. Really wish they had done a sequel.

I love the art style, and it fits the tone perfectly, though sometimes faces were a little weird to me.

Most of this is standard superheroes punching monsters in the sky. But the payoff is beautiful. Gail Simone says that this is her Superman. The one who wants to save innocents. Including Billy Batson.

Much better than the DC animated movie, this comic deals with two superpowers meeting and finding themselves. Billy Batson is amazingly reimagined as an orphan AND an outcast, a downtrodded god that is a child that copes with harsh realities. Sivana and Luthor are also characterized as the most vile businessmen imaginable, and the final dialogue between Superman and the Wizard Shazam is amazing. I'm not very fan of the drawing style, but it has its moments.
