4.5 stars! This was really good, tbh. It dragged a bit at the beginning but once I hit about 20% I flew through it. A sci-fi novella about the captain of a space ship that is stranded between earth and a former colony and discovers an alien species on board the ship. Very well done, I enjoyed it! Also liked the interactions with the AI/robot.

i really enjoyed this book. really well
paced for the majority of the story and with a satisfying ending leaving little loose ends. i wish we got to know some of the ensemble a little bit more but the plot was so tense that i was eating it up regardless. very impressive debut for ness brown!
