Spoiler
having julia as the author almost made her unreliable. why would billy tell his daughter about all of the things he did that would shine him in a negative light? why would daisy rat on julia’s mom and dad? who lied solely because julia was the one writing this? it added an interesting twist that i appreciated at the end but i wish the book had ended differently, it felt like an anticlimactic ending.Moderate: Drug abuse and Drug use

You'll find yourself pulling out the 70s rock and imagining what it was like to be witnessing the rise of some of the biggest rock bands in the era. The world that Taylor Jenkins Reid created in this book was rich and vibrant and easy to be brought into. She explores some of the complex issues humans face in life in a much more indepth way than she did in Evelyn Hugo and I think it was really needed

I somehow missed strong emotions, due to the lack of inner monologue. Didn't feel the story, you know?
