A cool story. Would definitely read more. Some repetition about animals not having purpose etc from the Monk book was a little annoying though. As a writer, I need to be very careful about this between books.

I think the audio impacted my enjoyment of this. It was easy to follow but the narrator lacked a lot of personality and inflection. Definitely slow to start, and I really wasn't fully invested until the last 2-3 hours or so

The sequel to The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet is quite possibly better than its predecessor. I was initially disappointed when the protags of the first were not the focus of this story. But I swiftly fell in love with Pepper and Sidra. The story we get in this is genuinely one of the most moving and beautiful stories about belonging and love and found family that I’ve ever read.
