⭐️4.5 finally we have someone with knowledge of advanced technology. Many things were answered! Like the primal function of the spur and the glitch of the Elder’s Ship computer! And yess we finally have our ship back. Harlow and Mardok will probably move back and work on fixing the computer!

This book did wet my eyes when Farli came to Kelli for her opinion on whether she should stay or leave with Mardok and when the tribe threw a farewell party for Farli. I think the captain and the other guy are not bad but they just have their own plans and goals. I have a feeling that they will make another appearance but in a devastating way. Hope they stay safe ;;

Decided to give this book a second chance and I’m very glad I did. Initially, I had a hard time reading this book because I still viewed Farli as a child. This time around, and maybe this has more to do with me reading Corsairs and getting to know the space pirates more, I was able to read about Farli from a more accurate lenses. Either way, I enjoyed how she got to know Mardok and I loved that he gave up his life to be with her.

In the grand scheme of things this book helps move the larger story along, and doesn’t spend too much time focusing on resonance.

10 MILLION STARS FOR FARLI & MARDOK!

This is my favorite book in the series. We get Sa'khui lore! I was wondering where the buildings came from and I'm still curious about the sketching in some of the 'houses' although I did spoil it a little bit for myself by reading the first book in Icehome before I was supposed to (oops) but I just sat there and though "OMG I THINK I KNOW WHAT THEY ARE!"

I love Farli so much. I never really cared or thought about her much in the previous books but she's now my favorite person... er, Sa'khui.... Her humor and teasing with Mardok is top-tier.

"I don’t want to make you run away screaming if I try to touch you.”

“Am I screaming with pleasure?” I ask, trailing a finger across his hard chest. “And am I running slow enough so you can catch me?”

“Woman, you are entirely too much of a tease. Be serious for a moment.”

FARLI, I LOVE YOU GIRL <3

& BEK!!! What have you done?????

So I loved it even more than I thought I would, and my only thing I'm continuously thinking about is what Bek asked for towards the end
Spoilerhe asked specifically for humans... from people who are descendants of their people...? ONLY humans? He's definitely got a thing for them, but he's also assuming the other four guys do too, maybe they'd prefer blue chicks?
I'm still stunned at his request he's such a butthead, but now I'm DYING even more for his story, because personally I like buttheads getting their butts kicked, and just YAY for more!
