* I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review*

To be honest, I was actually given this book b/c I'm supposed to review book 2, and as this is the first in the series...the author was kind enough to offer this one as well.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a super fast read, which I appreciate in my crazy busy life.

Julia was likable and relatable. I inwardly cringed at her plans of revenge and Liam's continued ass-hattery through the whole thing. I really enjoyed how in the end she learned some lessons and moved on.

I wish Jesse had a bigger role in the book, which I know sounds weird b/c he's the hero...but I really wish we'd seen more of him. He almost seemed like an afterthought in parts of it. Still, he was hunky and sweet and DIMPLES. How he related to his family told me all I needed to know about him on the surface...but I wanted to know more. (I know this is harder to do in a shorter book, but...wishes.)

Overall I really enjoyed it! At the end I really couldn't wait to get into book 2, Just Desserts...you'll have to wait for that review, though. :)

A book about revenge and how far you would go to get back at someone. I really liked this. Julia has been dumped. But not just dumped, she is humiliated in public. Payback seems like the best way to get over it so she hatches a plan with the help of her friends. Then she meets someone new. She has to decide what is important and what isn't. It's actually a very fun read. There are some fun characters. I am looking forward to roommate Ava's story.

This was well-written but I don't think the plot really worked that well for me and I'm not a fan of revenge subplots. And I see that the guy who acted like a total douche in this book has basically been set up to be the hero in the next book. I'm not sure I'll be able to buy that transformation.
