Tess Thompson writes characters that you can't help but love. The last installment of a sweet series about four sisters and their mom is heartwarming. Alissa and Jed are adorable characters. Jed is a swoony and gallant gentleman while Alissa is an intelligent, kindhearted and hardworking woman. Their accidental meeting leads to a story of kindred souls but some outside influences put their relationship in jeopardy.
I thoroughly recommend this sweet holiday romance!

Tess just always seems to write characters I cannot help but fall head over heels with. This series was great and this was a beautiful ending!

If you're looking for a book that touches your soul and takes you away from your problems for a few hours, this is one that fits the bill.
A tender-hearted school teacher, with a bit of a secret, meets a gorgeous, rich, kind man and both are swept up in a steamy romance until his mother finally finds out her secret and threatens to destroy their happiness. Actually the chapter where Alissa met Jed's parents gave me flashbacks to Phoebe meeting Mike's parents in "Friends" so I now "see" Alissa and Jed as Phoebe and Mike!
A beautiful read that just is so needed in this awful year to remind us there are beautiful things out there, we just need to: "Savor every moment. Every sweet second. Make memories."
