Engaging read in true Jenny Colgan fashion, but it should be illegal to have such a sad plot in a book that’s branded as a Christmas book :D This is not a funny, light read.
There’s something about Mure though that makes it impossible to put this book down.

This book is the third in a series, however, I just listened to this one as I was looking for a Christmas spirited story. This was slightly confusing in the beginning but as soon as I had caught on, it was easy to follow.
I enjoyed the different stories. Different people with different experiences in the same place. It was heartwarming and brought tears to my eye.
It was a bit cringy at times. I can't lie. Most of the happenings causing the cringe was brought up and "solved" throughout the book.

It is impossible not to love this series
The books are written in the third person present tense, which I hate. I don't care. There aren't always happy endings. I don't care. The only thing I care about is that Colgan continues to write such endearing and charming stories forever.
