This was such a fun, spicy, sports read! I enjoyed the heck out of it! It wasn’t overwhelming in the sport aspect, but it was present enough to spike the adrenaline.
Enemy’s sister is always a fun one trope!
And I love the name of the team, too!

I personally don't think this one is one for me. I am such a mood reader and this isn't my vibe at the moment.

This was my first foray into the hockey romance genre, and I’m so glad I picked up this book. The story had the perfect blend of dark, angsty themes - including forced proximity, betrayal, and rivalry. The main characters, the MMC and FMC, were incredibly compelling and well-developed. Their intense rivalry and chemistry really drove the narrative forward in a captivating way.
While this book does contain some heavy subject matter, the author handled it with care. I would encourage readers to review the trigger warnings before diving in. But if you’re a fan of dark, emotional romances set against the backdrop of the hockey world, I highly recommend giving this book a read. It was an engrossing, unputdownable story that I thoroughly enjoyed

I am so glad to have had the opportunity to read this as an ARC! It was so great and so hard to put down (even though I had to a lot 😔).

This dark hockey romance was just the perfect fast-pace. It didn’t feel rushed at all and I felt that the relationship was well developed! Duke and Aspen are an amazing couple and I loved their chemistry throughout this! Also, chapter 21 is one to buckle up for 🥵🌶️🏒…

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves dark hockey romance or wants a fast-paced book to read! 😍

I loved this!

I was not expecting this at all ... I was expecting this to be some regular hockey romance, but was squealing when I realized this was so much more ... and then confirmed it when I read it was a dark hockey romance.

I loved the forbidden love aspect of this ... my hockey rival's sister.

Duke and Aspen ...

Sheesh 🫠💦

Chapter 12! If you know, you know!

This was such a quick and easy read ... I literally read this in one sitting.

*btw fuck Carter!

I loved this book. It was spice and sports romance and forbidden love all wrapped up into one. I have utterly surrendered myself to guilty pleasures such as this book. There is a plot twist at the end that seemed slightly far-fetched but we all know it has a HEA.

Season of Secrets is a quick hockey romance that I read in one sitting. Once I started reading it, I didn't want to put it down! Duke is the captain of the Makos hockey team and Aspen is his rival's sister who is not to be touched by any hockey player. Duke is possessive and isn't afraid to go for what is his. I am sad to see there won't be any other book on Duke and Aspen but I enjoyed the way this book played out. Chapter 21 was definitely out there but there's always a first for everything

This is the first dark hockey romance I’ve read and I was a bit dubious going into it but I really enjoyed it!
It was a lovely easy to read story with really likeable characters. The chemistry between Duke and Aspen was fantastic! The smutty scenes are written incredibly well if you catch my drift! The only downside for me was the speed in which our 2 main characters went from not knowing each other at all to willing to wreck their entire lives for each other. It was lightening fast to say the least. That’s not necessarily a bad thing at all, just personally I would have liked a bit more in the middle.
Overall I really great read though, I really recommend
