This book is a good adaption of a story I was already in love with. But it only gives a slightly better insight into the relationship between Kratos and Atreus and their thought processes. It’s nothing groundbreaking but it’s worth a read if you’re already a fan of the game. It’s also worth listening to the audiobook for Alastair Duncan’s (Mimir) voice alone.

Very well written and offers a deep insight to both Kratos and Atreus. Of course the game is better, simply for the fact that there's much more of the world to explore. But I understand why the author couldn't include everything (this would be an 800 page novel if he did).
I hope he writes another book for Ragnarök, I would love to see how he writes about Garm (my all-time favorite boss fight!)
