If you are looking for a deep & meaningful story this is not the book for you.
If you are looking for some hot & steamy sex & perhaps get a bit educated about certain things then this is the book for you.

Personally I need my smut to at least have me care about whether or not the couple get together & in this I wasn't really bothered.
Like I said the sex scene's were hot but in a very detached way, I didn't really feel any emotion.

The h, Myrna had some serious issue's that put me off at times & she really just used Brian for a lot of the book. And I don't think her issue's were properly dealt with. The storey would probably have been better served if this had been left out IMHO.

Having said that I will try the next book which is Sed's sorry as by the end I was getting to know the other band members and am curious to see what happens to them & what lucky lady tames them.

**I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.**

Myrna is a college professor teaching human sexuality. She's good at her job even if her teaching methods aren't the norm. When she is attending a conference she notices a group of men at the bar that aren't like all the nerdy teachers. What she doesn't realize is that they are the Sinners the hottest rock group around. She's a huge fan and takes a chance by saying hello.

Brian is the bands heart. He wants to be in that committed relationship in the worst way. He just keeps picky the wrong type of girl. When he meets Myrna he is drunker than drunk, but he realizes how beautiful she is. Can he get her to notice him? Can Myrna hide from her abusive ex and just have fun with the lead guitarist of the Sinners.

I have no idea why it's taken me so long to start this series. When I first started reading heavily rock book were my first picks, I can't believe I missed these. I feel like a reading failure, but I am happily I am finally meeting the guys. I never knew what I was missing.

I truly did love it. Couldn't put it down. It's sexy and funny. Some of the sex scene had me fanning myself. I love each different personality of the Sinners and can't wait for more.

This book was good and it made a nice change to have the male lead character to the more sensitive of the two even though he still had that alpha male in him.

Myrna a skittish woman with commitment issues thanks to her ex-husband is a smart older woman. Thanks to a chance meeting at the hotel where she is attending a conference gets to meet one of her favourite bands, and in particular Master Sinclair (Brian).

Their relationship sizzles from the beginning and they both open each others eyes.

A brilliant story.

Story was enjoyable yet predictable. Started out strong but kinda fizzled. It’s got a TON of spice, which I enjoy, but lacked any type of depth or feeling due to a weak and highly predictable plot. I’ll give another book in the series a whirl but if it again lacks all semblance of a plot or character depth, I will quit the series.

Normally I prefer dual narrators so I was slightly thrown off by the single narrator. She had a good voice from the female MC but was awkward during the concert scenes and downright cringy during the spicy scenes. It appears the entire series has the same narrator and that may end up being reason enough for a DNF for me at a later time

Hot hot hot book! Another book I couldn't put down! Loved the fact that Myrna is not your typical h, being in her mid 30s and a professor. Loved the bands characters and that Olivia Cunning fed you little bits in the beginning about Myrna's ex husband so you were wondering what had happened. Off to read book two now and I will be looking out for other books by this author.

I started reading "Backstage Pass", the first book in the "Sinners on Tour" series by Olivia Cunning, late last night and found myself still up 'til the wee hours of the morning. If I hadn't decided that sleep was actually a necessity, I would have probably ended up finishing it while the rest of the community was just waking up. Hahaha.

This book was S-T-E-A-M-Y! It takes a lot to surprise me and my eyebrows went as high as they could during one particular sex scene. Goodness, the leads, Myrna Evans and Brian Sinclair, were adventurous indeed! The rest of the Sinners band were endearing in their own ways as well... Suffice it to say that the name of their band more than suits them. ;)

I liked that Myrna wasn't your typical innocent young lady who falls for a rock star and that Brian wasn't an egotistical jackass who wants to teach the girl all the naughty things he knows. Yes, there was a LOT of sex but the book also talks about marital abuse and stalking as well as adult children still craving the approval of their parents.

"Backstage Pass" gets four stars! Onto book two in the series, "Rock Hard". ^.^
