Yakuza Fiancé follows Yoshino who is engaged to a rival yakuza gang's future boss, Kirishima. When she arrives in Tokyo to meet her new fiancé, she finds he might be more than she bargained for.
I loved this volume of this manga so much. I was absolutely dragged into this story and I was so sad when I finished it because i loved it so much.
First off, Kirishima is so interesting. He has this way of talking where he is smiling but there is something underneath that look that shows that there is a darker side to him. I thought he was so interesting to learn more about. I really loved how Yoshino is so sweet yet she has a tough side ot herself. Because of her outer look, people assume she's just rude or mean but in reality, she's actually very nice.
I really loved seeing these two interact because it made me laugh out loud several times. This volume is mostly setting up the yakuza empires and the roles every one plays in this. The art was so well done in this volume as well. The ending of this really made me want the second volume which I ordered immediately. I can see this becoming a series that I absolutely love and enjoy.
