Another amazing issue from Ploughshares. Literary Magazines are really an under-appreciated media these days. Granted, the stories in this issue are uneven--it's almost important for them to all resonate with one reader at whatever mental space they might be in when they first encounter it--but even for those stories that didn't spark my interest, I recognized the high quality and vision of the work.
I recommend a subscription to this magazine for everyone who enjoys literature.
