I liked everyone in this romcom about a woman landing in her loving parent’s arms back in the hometown she bolted from at first chance 20 years ago. Reunions, old wounds, sexy connections and an inspiring sports story make this love story so likable.

This books was made up of a bunch of traits I don't love: small town, constantly referencing high school, characters calling each other "baby", and yet somehow I actually really enjoyed it. It was spicy and I really liked Jake's much more common term of endearment fo Marley, "Pretty girl".
