This book initially drew me in because I found the idea of the supernatural mixed in with the Titanic to be fascinating. However, at times I found the story difficult to keep up with as it jumps from various character perspective and from past and present quite frequently. While, I enjoyed the story, I was a little disappointed with its ending, it felt a little unsatisfying and happened very abruptly.

this is not a horror story, but a telenovela, and a boring one at that. anniebear, kill yourself.

my favorite quote: "Perhaps she was not pregnant with a girl after all, she thought, but a boy. The rush of desire she sometimes felt these past few months was positively masculine." ♡

I was entertained but when I stopped reading I just didn't want to go back. It seems like it builds up to the horror aspect but I got bored.

Pacing too slow. And I’m a voracious reader for anything Titanic—related. The writing itself was good, and the historical research on some passengers was A+, but it was just a slog to keep going.

I loved this. It is not spooky, which it may sound like but to my happy surprise (I don't do scary stuff) this was more about the passengers stories then anything else. And I LOVED the use of real names from people who were on the Titanic and the Brittania. I have a slight obsession with the history of the Titanic and this was probably the reason why I could see everything so vividly in my mind.

It makes me want to watch all my favourite titanic docus, movies, series again ❤
