Tamén tedes a orixinal en polaco I guess.

Ferdydurke
Witold Gombrowicz
.
Without a doubt, one of the strangest books I’ve read. Imagine if Alice in Wonderland and the music of Tom Waits had a “book-child”. That would begin to enter the bizarre realm of Ferdydurke.
I was immediately struck by how modern this book is - especially considering it was written in 1937!! It’s experimental as can be and tackles some interesting themes - class and the concept of maturity. How difficult it is to be truly unique and have a singular voice. There’s no mistaking Gombrowicz.
This world is witty, weird, often disturbing and thoroughly unique. Interestingly, the cover was designed by another brilliant writer, Bruno Schulz.
“Normality is a tight rope walker above the abyss of abnormality. How much potential madness is contained in the everyday order of things?”
