This just didn't keep my attention. I wasn't really invested in our heroes and the mystery of the ancient ones and the master felt bland. Not sure of I will continue this one...

I don’t know why everything has to have the most perfect writing.

I thought this was fun and I ate it up. I loved The Strain though…hopefully the third book is just as fun.

This is book #2 of The Strain trilogy, and much like the first book, the authors take the readers on a wild ride hunting vampires both above ground and below. This book is set about 4 days after the start of the first book and has Eph, Nora, Gus, and Setrakian tracking down a mysterious silvery book. There are a few new characters here as well. There is also a not fully adequately resolved plot. Put another way: there are not enough pages in this book.
