I will admit this book did not pull me in immediately. I wasn’t completely sold on the story at the start and found it odd how slow it moved given how much was already revealed in the synopsis.
But I started to get more attached to the characters about half way in and now I can honestly say I’m intrigued enough to pick up the next book. I think the narrator also did a phenomenal job with all the characters.
Definitely pick this up if you’re looking for a little twist on a post-apocalyptic story!
