First of a five part series, a fantasy written for young people is engaging enough, whilst being fairly predictable in its content.
The good nature of the style outweighs this though and it is a good start to the series, although as it seems in many of these fantasy series not a lot actually happens, and there is always a bit of padding in them.
It was worth a read, this week I hope to read the whole series.

I loved this entire series and spent one of my whole Christmas's finishing them. The stories are really fun and the characters are just a joy. This is a book I will definetly re-read while in quarintine!

Wow I really enjoyed this book. The age range is probably 9 to 13, but it captures my attention. The adventure and fantasy are woven together masterfully. Each of the four main characters are well developed and give someone for any child to identify with. I am excited to see where the series goes in the next four books.
