I've read books 1-4 in the space of a week, this is an excellent series featuring a fantastic and realistic protagonist, Tracey Crosswhite. This one was my favorite so far because if its intriguing and twist-filled plot. I really like the side characters in this one.

Still love this series!

Tracy Crosswhite is my spirit animal. This one kept me guessing until the final chapters. Robert Dugoni is now on my list of favorites forever.

Love these books. Another one that kept me guessing and then was still surprised at the ending.

This series is a pretty solid police thriller
It's never blown my mind, but it does have a good level of twists and turns.

I listen to this series whilst driving and it's a great backdrop to long journeys, mainly because the author excels in breaking down the cases bit by bit. You learn the story and truth in conjuction with the MC and that's a reassuring way of a police thriller being written.

This was a good story, it dragged ass for a bit of time in the middle, but was really nicely wrapped up

It just gets better and better! Although I did end up guessing the scenario of this one, I loved the twist! I love Tracy more and more with each book, but the best part about this book was how we got to see her teammates more. We got to see them having her back and supporting her. We also got to see a SHOCKING new side to Nolasco.

I really liked the dual perspective approach Dugoni adapted here. It sometimes worked in misleading the reader, but I felt like I figured things out more quickly because of the added POV as well. It’s easier to see into the situation, even though for stretches of the story you get led into questioning how much of the information you can actually trust. There was a twist of course, and once again it’s a very realistic sort of twist rather than a “let’s just throw a wrench in there for no reason at all” type.

This is the best mysteries I've read in some time! Lots of good twists and turns. I thought I had it figured out several times, but I was wrong. I really liked the 1st book in this series, but wasn't as impressed with #2 & 3, and almost stopped reading. I'm really glad I kept going!

This is the first of the series that I have read and I seriously doubt I'm going to give the others a go. Okay, maybe the first one because then the protagonist probably won't have to remind me every second page about what had gone before.
The premise is a good one but the story was so drawn out and text heavy that I lost complete interest. Total fail
