Love this podcast. The book is interesting with Suru and Hannah adding some fun British flavour to well known case analysis. There’s not much *new* or revolutionary stuff in here but it was a good audiobook to listen to! Prefer the podcast though.

One of the better easy true crime books I've read. While I enjoy true crime podcasts and documentaries, I'm not always big on the books. I'm usually a little leery because people do not put much research into theory or site statistics of criminality. It appears that most readers found the first chapters boring, but I found it to be the best part. I learned a lot about psychopathy and Anti-social Personality Disorder that I didn't know previously and it was a lot less dry than reading an actual psychology book. However, I did find the chapter on killer couples lacking. I think they had too much empathy for Karla Homolka, when she is just as evil as Paul Bernardo even if he did beat her up. I think they should have gone with a different couple. All in all it's very well researched for the genre and has some fascinating tidbits in there.
