New to me author. Mostly enjoyed the book but the pacing seemed off (especially towards the end). I had thought that the book was wrapping up but there turned out to be 15% of the book left.

I loved the first book in this series and loved this one even more for the New Woman heroine in Sylvia; the spy-romance genre crossover is a delight and executed beautifully!
I particularly liked that the heroine had previous sexual experience, which is something I especially want more of in historical romance novels!
