3.5⭐️ A touching, light-hearted, double romance skimming a multitude of persons and experiences: widow, student, construction worker, Starbies worker, tutors, gardener… all experiencing the rolling waves of of loss and belonging. Juggling 4 POVs in a short novel made the relationships just skim the surface, but sweet nonetheless.

An enjoyable new read from the great Debbie Macomber. I liked this quick and easy read/listen. The cover and title caught my eye, and I immediately added it to my TBR when I first saw this one was releasing. The story line also sounded good, so I was all in on this one. I'm glad I read it. Joan, Maggie, Paul and Nick help make this a story that I pretty much devoured. Great story.
