This is probably the first book I have just decided not to star rate it.

It’s not because it’s bad or really great. With lit fic there is always a more profound story lurking and it’s up to you to figure out what it means.

I found so many things to take away from this book. And mostly it just hurt. I hurt for Yeong Hye and In Hye.

I hope to never think about this book again.

It's visceral. Certain images stays with u. It's meant to make the reader feel uncomfortable, grossed out and Marvel at the ways in which a human brain can function to madk trauma.

From a literary perspective this book is challenging and thought provoking. There’s a lot of ways to analyze the text. I would not recommend to someone for a casual read

An unsettling but important read. Even though the content is quite dark most of the time, I still found it compelling and was eager to keep reading.
