Farm Fresh

Just Wow! Jack a brooding angry elf of a farmer with a hotter than sin body falls not so gracefully for the scone throwing princess daughter of a politician with higher standards than the cities tallest skyscrapers. Let's just say it makes for an amazing story with steamy up against a tree, weak in the knees sex. Easy read with more than enough to keep you guessing what's going to happen next.

Great read

Delicious love story! Margot, rich city girl, went to a farm to help them develop their brand and increase their sales of organic farm feed. Of the three brother owners, only Jack didn't want her there, uprooting his isolated, quiet life. Margot fell for Jack pretty fast. Who can resist a sullen gorgeous hunky farmer man? What was entertaining about the story was to see Jack fall, every stubborn inch of the way. His private conversations and his conversations with his dead wife at the cemetery were cute, some were heartfelt. He was kicking and fighting his feelings. I loved both characters and rooted for them. I loved about Margot that she shared her feelings, was supportive and understanding but when he went into panic mode and demanded space, she respected and left. I hate clingy, demanding types, and she was very self-respecting. I felt for Jack, because he'd had too many tragedies, but he had the right feelings, just needed a lot of pushes. Great read, totally recommend!

Margot narrowly avoided marrying mega wimp Tripp, he with the gambling habit and the tiny penis that gives no satisfaction. Jack, met and married the love of his life, only to lose her to a drunk driver. So when the farm that Jack and his brothers own and run needs marketing help, Margot goes out to the farm to work on the plan. Margot helps Jack to break the ice around his heart and Jack helps Margot understand just how unimpressive Tripp really was in the bedroom department. Wonderful escapism.

4.5*s

My heart feels full after reading AFTER WE FALL. It was funny, it was sexy, it was heartbreaking, and it was heartwarming. The Epilogue was romantic and worth all the heartache.

Books this good don't come along very often, so don't miss it.

The beginning was hard, it was hard to believe a 30 yr old woman didn't know where eggs came from? The way the FMC spoke was either really mature and appropriate for her age or weirdly childlike with a lot of exclamation points. That threw me for a loop but the reason I read the whole thing was because of MMC, Jack. The author makes you fall in love with him and you just have to root for him!
