Really enjoyed the first entry to the series but it kinda kept going downhill for me with every book. And 3 books were way too many to tell this story, the whole senator King side plot is so unnecessary, it could’ve stayed just a vague thing happening in the background.
What annoyed me the most was that Stevie has no common sense of self-preservation instinct, how was Nate the only voice of reason in this whole trilogy? She kept making dumber and dumber decisions and the whole thing with David was even worse.
He was a dick for 2 books, she kept being obsessed by him because hormones??? and then they made up just like that in 2 sentences.
hard to see anybody linking his character at this point.
I enjoyed the mystery, though Stevie’s final findings were a bit hard to believe but I kept getting more annoyed by dumb teen decisions to get fully immersed in the story. maybe cause i relate more to the adults than the teenagers now :))

I really enjoyed the conclusion to this series. I did figure it out, but it took me a while to get there. I would read more stories with Stevie in them and was excited to here that there is another one coming!

this was a satisfying ending to the series, and a marked improvement from where it started. i thought that stevie was a strong voice carrying the plot, and although sometimes there were leaps to conclusions that i couldn’t quite follow, i still felt that it was wrapped up well. still hate david though, fuck that guy!
