I really enjoyed this one! I like that the awkward, dramatic storyline (the scandal) was over with in the first chapter, so the majority of the book was about how the relationship changed between Nicolas and Georgiana. It was sweet to see them go from friends to lovers, and I appreciated the medical tidbits in the story.

Definitely not my favorite in the Bridgerton universe. After reading the second installment in this prequel series I had such high hopes for this book and was disappointed. It's not that its bad, I just feel like so much more could've been done with the storyline. I really appreciate feminism and progressive thinking, but some of it felt a bit forced to me, maybe I'm just too hyper-focused on realism in a little romance novel that's just for fun. I do like the two main characters a lot though, Nicholas is a wonderful man and Georgie has just the right amount of spunk, they truly were made for eachother. I wish we got more flashbacks to their childhood memories, but then again I guess they really weren't anything special to each other back then, no more than friends at least.

Absolute perfection; I think this might actually be my favorite historical romance yet. Georgie is incredible and Nicholas’s and her relationship is delightful. I love how Quinn built their relationship from a friendship and their love story was just so sweet and kind. All in all, would happily recommend to anyone looking for a strong, independent female lead with a cinnamon roll of a male lead.
