To say I’m shock is an understatement.
When I first read Darla in Trapped With You I didn’t expect for her to be like this. It’s safe to say that she grew into herself throughout the course of this book. We watched her transformed from the timid people pleaser to this strong and bold woman. She had let herself be hidden for too long and her growth can have alot to do with the MMC.
As for him where do I start. Zeno is Daddy a filthy mouth, dominant sugar daddy. The way this man had me swooning and kicking my feet. The man is definitely a woman written man cause I know I will never find one like him. The man treats you like a slut all while calling you a queen and is willing to get on his knees.
These two was made for each other. They complimented each other well and though they had their back and forth moments there was never any immaturity between them and that’s what I’m most happy about. This was a great read and I truly enjoyed and recommend it.

in the see of bad books i’ve picked up lately, this one was a almost a safe space. it was well done, you could see zeno and darla’s affection, feelings grow. and you could sense their chemistry.
book 2 was better than book 1 from what i recall even though it did suffer from the same affliction pf being too long with maybe not enough to sau, so it started to drag towards the end.

❝You bought me a private island.❞
❝I would have bought you a planet if I could.❞
review: https://sumaiyaahmed.com/2022/10/24/corrupted-by-you-%e2%9d%9dall-we-needed-was-each-other-in-this-life%e2%9d%9e/
Like the rest of us, Darla thinks she will never find her prince charming but along comes this Hades in human form and he changes her entire perspective. He allows her to be completely, honestly, her without fear of being disappointing and makes a home for himself in her kind, spring-floral heart. It's so, so beautiful to read the way they fall in love and I only wish there was more fluff.
I loved that the relationships--with each other and with the side characters--were important factors to the plot and added a special kind of nuance, filling every page with both a devastating and heartwarming realisation especially as more secrets came unburied. I found one of the things to be very, very, very unrealistic--it seemed like the same thing could have happened, but unfolded in a different way rather than what was told. Nevertheless, it didn't take away how in love with Corrupted by You I am.
