Rae is the wedding planner who loves her job, but doesn't believe in love for herself. She's had a crush on Shane Kelly since they were children, but they can't seem to get along. When Shane needs a place to stay for a while, Rae offers him to move in with her. Finley, Shane's sister and Rae's best friend, has moved out to live with her husband and Rae could use the rent money. But will they be able to live together without being at each others throats all the time?

It's wonderful to be back in Gulf City and to see the Kelly family and their friends again! We also get to meet other familiar characters from MacQueen's earlier books (Rockstars Anonymous series), since Rae is planning the wedding between Drew Stone and Lola Ramirez! Lovely!

As usual we get point of view from both main characters, and that's always a big pluss for me. On the outside Rae's a very calm and collected person, with perfect clothes, hair and makeup. Since we get access to her thoughts and feelings we realize that the inside is a bit different from her outer appearance. Shane is rather quiet, a thinker, and the book would be somewhat one-sided if we didn't get to know his thoughts.

These romantic books are, of course, pretty predictable, but that doesn't mean that it's not interesting along the way! I loved to follow Rae and Shane on their journey, from always bickering to... well, you know! 😉
