Cade and Rayne were everything together in this novella. Commitment phone Cade was going to teach naive Rayne a couple of things in the bedroom to take with her throughout her life… but things change. I enjoyed how Rayne dealt with her body issues and how Cade helped her overcome them. Even though it was a novella, it sure packed the spice that’s for sure.
I received this ARC through the publisher and I am voluntarily reviewing this book, opinions are my own.

✅brothers best friend
✅plus size FMC
✅educated woman (Lawyer)
✅good girl complex

I really enjoyed this book and how accurately they portrayed what it feels like not being what society considers gorgeous. Rayne is our badass FMC who is an intelligent Lawyer and confident in her skin (love that for her). However she feels she’s not blessed in the bedroom department and needs some help. Cade is her brothers best friends who is know to be quite the man whore. Her brother Beau told Cade if he could go 1 month sleeping with the same girl that they could open up their dream restaurant.

Is Cade able to keep it to one girl or will he keep playing the field?!

Rayne, the female lead, has been told she’s bad in bed by her recent ex-boyfriend. Cade, the male lead, is a manwhore, whose best friend, her brother, just bet that he can’t go a month having sex with just one woman. Rayne offers to be that woman so she can get lessons from him whilst he still gets regular satisfaction with no expectations. But now they’re both wondering whether they can keep to no commitments, especially since their kinks are so well aligned…

This story is dual POV, well written and edited, and a fun, erotic contemporary romance. I enjoyed the discussions of real issues that people actually have to deal with, especially Rayne’s issues as a large woman. I enjoyed Cade’s vocal and physical enjoyment of Rayne and his constant encouragement of her. I enjoyed their intimate play and their exploration of their relationship and the depth it could acquire. I enjoyed the secondary characters and the integration of both biological family and family of choice. This writing team is one of my favourites, mostly because each story is genuine, with real emotional engagement, as well as a healthy sexual component - just like life should be.

I received a complimentary copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Rayne and Cade
Brother’s best friend, sex lessons, friends with benefits.
What is wrong with her parents!? Their marriage sounds ridiculously old fashioned and the fact that they regularly forget their daughter is unforgivable.
The rest of the story was enjoyable. Short, sweet, and spicy 4🔥 Cade was a caring guy from the beginning and Rayne has some body image hang ups but don’t we all?
I didn’t love the epilogue gift as much as some people.
I don’t usually wish for more pages or want to dig deeper into things but I do wish we would’ve circled back to Cade’s mom and the thoughts/concerns he was having after leaving her house.
