Honestly, better than I was expecting. The plot was kind of obvious and I'm kind of tired about the "mates for life" trope. But it gave me the werewolf ambience I was looking for and the level of cringe was surprisingly low.

This isn't bad. I sort of enjoyed a lot of it. Its just a bit weird. And a little all over the place.

I doubt I'll read on because I have to pay and this isn't a series I was jumping up and down reading. Nor am I sorry I read it.

Quick & Fun Read

This was such a quick and fun read! I wish we got some more clarification on some things, such as Katherine's family and the alpha thing near the end. I would have loved an epilogue as well, but this was still a good read!

One of the best YA's I have read. The emotions between the two! So good. Didn't like some of the attitudes towards the FMC and how she always somehow found trouble but I still found this to be an enjoyable read. Love love Bastian ❤

Edit: After some thinking I decided to down vote this book just because there was a couple questions that were left unanswered and made me wonder about things. Like how does he keep finding her, except for that one time for some reason?
When she sees him in her dreams, is he aware of it?

I also didn't really like how like 90% of the men/boys she runs into try to assault her in some way. I found that to be kinda unnecessary. Was still a good read though!

um...sorry?? It looks like we have found a new favourite ladies & gents and let me tell you, this was very unexpected.

I flipping love a good werewolf book. I have been on a bit of a werewolf kick at the moment - binge watching every movie known to man and apparently this has followed through with the books I am choosing to read. And this book didn’t disappoint.

- incredible writing and pacing
- the plot line was very fun and interesting & I liked learning it all from a fresh perspective
- i am so effing obsessed with bastian & katherine
- I actually need book two now or imma die

I haven’t read a good paranormal romance I have loved in a while and I COULDN’T PUT THIS BOOK DOWN.

I think I had a love-hate relationship with this book. It made me laugh. It made me cringe (oh so much, and very often). It made me roll my eyes ands still- it hooked me enough to read it all. And the ending did shock me, so there's always that.

Issues- I like YA books, but I think the main character was just too young and immature and contradictory.
The author had some sort of hang up as referring to the characters as 'the small brunette' 'the blonde' 'the man' which became highly irritating. It would be nice for Bastian to referred to as something other then 'the man' - he's only two years older then our sarcastic MC and it didn't make her growing feelings for him believable.
Her acceptance of her parents 'death' didn't sit well with me. Yes, she fought it and denied it, but you still think she would ask for a phone to ring her sister. Other bitten werewolves families are protected in the werewolf colony- shouldn't Katherine see about protecting her remaining family? Be a bit more concerned?
There were quite a few typos and this version still had notes from the editor in it. Bastian. Oh Bastian. I think this book would have been better with his POV in it. I get his a young Alpha under a lot of pressure- but his temper and moods were so split.

What I did like- the supporting characters. If it wasn't for them I don't know if I would have read this whole book. They added a lot to the story. I did like Bastian, I will just reiterate my point that I think it would be better if some of the story was from his view- maybe then you could understand his conflicting emotions better.

Undecided at the moment if I will read the second one.

I have been reading allot of shifter books here lately. I thought this one was a bit strange at the beginning when she was first attacked by a wolf and she comes home and her family is slaughtered by wolf hunters, then bam she is taken in by a pack of wolves. Just a bit out there for me. Not very believable.

Cute

While I liked that this werewolf story was different and more realistic it was a tad slow. The characters are there but all only have minima rolls. I liked that the love wasn't instant and it wasn't sappy. I also enjoyed the fact that the author made it seem more realistic how one might react to being bitten.

I loved this book so much. First time reading a book from Noelle Marie, and wow. I have to say that I am a big werewolf fan. I think I will read anything with werewolf's in it. I can't wait too read the rest of the books.

Its about this girl named Katherine Mayes, and she is sixteen years old. She happens to get bit by this wolf on day and then stuff starts to happen to her. So she notices changes going on with her. Then one day she is taken way from her family. People are hunting her and she is with this group of people and she doesn't believe what they are telling her.

Later on in the book she falls in love. With this guy that has the most gorgeous eyes and handsome features. That is what I am going to leave you with just go read the book.
