I thought this series was over with Book #5, but now with book #6 coming soon, I can’t wait to read. This was the perfect book about Emerald.

Emerald Hatcher was taken at 15 years old after being sold by her parents and she was sold to Richard Curtwood until he became bored with her and she was once again sold to Noah Landry.

Her sisters have never given up on hope that she would be found and when a body turns up that resembles Emerald they are heartbroken that they never got to her in time.

Yet nothing is as it seems and soon Sapphire and Elijah realize that Emerald may be still alive but someone wants it to appear that she is dead. When Sapphire and Elijah begin to get close to the truth it is evident that someone wants to stop them.

When the truth comes out will anyone be prepared for it?

This was another awesome book in the series and I must admit that I am heartbroken that it has come to an end. I love this author se much and her series completely suck me in and I hate when we have to leave the characters that she creates.

Emerald had been through a lot with her captors and I was shocked at how she was forced to live for 2.5 years and I can see how she formed such a bond with Noah. She found a certain level of freedom with Noah yet nothing was as it seemed. I had mixed feelings about Emerald as more and more came out as I knew how much her sister's missed her and I was mad that she was staying away.

I love all the Hatcher sisters and I knew that they would never give up on looking for Emerald. I knew Sapphire would do what she could to bring Emerald home and I loved that her and Elijah kept digging to find the truth. Yet digging for the truth put the sisters back on an individuals radar who wanted someone that was being kept from him.

The book had so many twists and I was freaking out for sure at what was going on. I knew that Emerald wanted to keep her sister's safe and Noah's main goal was protecting Emerald but the risk was getting higher and higher.

I was happy when Noah finally told Gideon the truth about everything so that they could all work together to get to the bottom of it all!

The end was pretty intense but I had my fingers crossed that it was all going to work out how I needed it to!!

I love the hint at a new series coming!!
