If you think this book rants about "Feminism", you are took! You've been hoodwinked! Bamboozled! As Malcom X says.

In a world where progress can often be deceptive, Faludi fearlessly exposes the hidden factors that conspire against women's advancement. With meticulous research and intellect, Backlash is a narrative that uncovers the elusive phenomenon of societal regression. Rather than merely skimming the surface of feminist struggles, the writer dives deep into the hidden corridors of power, where the war against women is waged with subtlety and cunning. Presenting a compelling case, revealing the covert tactics employed by those seeking to delay women's progress in America. Unfortunately, what was written in '91 can be related to Indian women in 2023 (I dare not say "Asian")

What do you think truly makes Faludi's work captivating? Her words compel readers with a sense of urgency to acknowledge the specter of regression lurking in our society. Her thought-provoking insights serve as a call to action for individuals of all genders, urging them to challenge the status quo and actively deconstruct the systemic barriers that hinders true progress.

I loved the fact that she invites readers to embark on a transformative journey, empowering us to recognize the multi-faceted nature of the battle for gender equality. I urge you to read Backlash because be prepared to be captivated, provoked, and ultimately inspired to take action against the shadows that seek to cover the path to a more equitable future. This work will leave you with a renewed determination to confront the forces of regression and an unshakeable belief in the power of collective action to create a brighter, more inclusive world. It sure transformed me and I hope it does the same to you!
