That was fun. Loved it.
I also loved that even though Kell was supposed to be 21, the narrator read him like an gruff 50 yead old man and it was fun.

I really hope nothing romantic develops between Kell and Lilah in later books, I like them being friends.

I'm learning this is my kind of book.

This was a reread and even though I already knew what I was in for and knew how things would end, Schwab managed to catch and drag me into the worlds.
She is one of my favourite authors and in my opinion just a master of storytelling, I can picture clearly in my head what happens and feel with the characters who feel a little like home by now.
This is a book for the ones who like elemental magic, multiple POVs, thieees and adventures.
100% recommend

This surprised in a good way. I was expecting to like it but it altered my brain chemistry in a sense. I felt like throwing up with some parts, but I'll like to continue with the series.
I've read some reviews here that say that they don't like Lila but I genuinely understand her and even like her. And Kell was a hell of a main character. I enjoyed reading about them a lot.

On the other hand, a friend that read it before me said that it could have been a standalone and I do agree, but let's see what happens on the second book.

tbh i expected more from this but it was still a good book. the author included too much useless information which made it hard to read sometimes, but the london systems were able to make this a 3.5 star book.

and also…i really liked kell <3

i will read the next book in the trilogy eventually, just not a priority book.
