trulybooked's review against another edition

I was so excited when I realized that I had found an anthology of homosexual stories with a strong focus on the home. I thought that I would get to read engaging stories that would draw me in and wring all the emotions out of me. The reality of the anthology is very different. There was little experimentation with form or what they were talking about. Even when there was something more out of the ordinary it still seemed cliche.
It wasn't horrible by any means, but it left me with a washed out feeling. If I could sum up my feelings on this book in a shoulder shrug, that is what I would do.
