Oh Hux… don’t we all love a troubled MMC? Hux is troubled for sure. Then enters Everly…. We all know what happens.. she softens him.

Even knowing how it was going to play out.. I liked the plot and and how they navigated the family issues. The family court and all Savannah had to go through. I also wish Savannah and Ev could have had a moment talking about the day at the farmhouse.

I wish we saw more of Nelson.. he’s the quintessential small town old man and feel like he could have had more scenes.

Overall it’s WillaNash/Deveny Perry so I love it. I love her writing and she has great stories.

From the moment Ev had come into my life, she’d thrown me for a loop, constantly surprising me—always in a good way. Somehow, I’d deemed her too good to be true, so I’d kept her at a distance.

“I don’t need a big dream. I’d rather accomplish a small one. I want a happy life. A simple home. I want to be around people who aren’t afraid to belly laugh and tell me they love me.”

The peace wasn’t in this meadow. It wasn’t the grass or the flowers or the trees. The peace was at Everly’s side.

Amazing! This book was even better than the last. I loved every minute of it, devoured it in 4 hours! Everly’s emotions were so strong, I felt so related to and understood. She was the perfect character. I loved the growth between her and Savannah as well. Hux was the best, hands down. His and Everly’s relationship was perfect and such a whirlwind! I just finished it and already want to reread. Can’t wait for more!
