Fall Into Temptation by Lucy Score is a blissfully heartwarming small town romance that will enchant you with the love, charm you with their delightful town, humor you with its’ chaotic hilarity, entertain you with its’ steamy spice & warm your soul like a cup of hot cocoa on a cold day.

This is book #2 in the Blue Moon series, which could be read as a standalone, but the first one was an easy five star for me, so I recommend starting there!

Fall Into Temptation is great for fans of…
🩷 Small Town Romance
🩷 Single Mom
🩷 Close Proximity
🩷 Yoga Teacher Meets Mayor/Lawyer
🩷 Neighbors

Blue Moon is the blueprint for idyllic small towns with kindness grown into the foundation with the hilarious & meddling townsfolk whose antics are sure to cause laughs. I also absolutely adore the two families at the center of this story.

Lucy Score is one of the funniest authors I’ve ever read as she constantly delivers romances guaranteed to make you laugh & swoon. I consistently applaud her talent & always add any & all of her books to my TBR list.

If you are looking to fall head over heels for both the great small town & the sweetest love story, I highly recommend Fall Into Temptation!

Massive thanks to NetGalley & Bloom Books for the gifted copy, which I voluntarily read & reviewed.

Beckett will always be one of my favorite main characters. He is so strong, sweet and loyal! Another great read by Lucy! And just sucks me deeper into a fictional town I wish was a real place! Having a rough day? Escape to Blue Moon!

Sometimes, when I have insomnia and can't fall asleep unless I'm reading a book I'll choose a book I've read many many times, reasoning that it must be comforting and since I know how the story plays out my ADHD insomniac brain won't fully engage with the need to know why the characters did the things they did and keep me awake even longer, contributing to the insomnia. That said, I've read this book multiple times and enjoy it every single time.

Beckett (also called Bucket by the cutest little bean in the world) falls hard for single mom and yoga instructor, Gia...along with her two kids Evan and Aurora (she of the Bucket).

The small town setting is cozy, the family dynamics are sweet and loving, and all in all sometimes I just want to escape to Blue Moon and visit my friends and let their antics soothe my brain into complacency.

I use the CAWPILE Review method for my reviews (see explanation here), just to keep me honest and help me understand what exactly I liked/didn't like. My ratings are below.

Characters: 8/10
Atmosphere/Setting: 8/10
Writing: 7/10
Plot: 7/10
Intrigue: 7/10
Logic/Relationships: 8/10
Enjoyment: 7/10

Total rating 52/70 divided by 7 = 7.4

Beckett is the buttoned-down mayor of Blue Moon and Gia is a free spirited yoga instructor. Beckett is Gia’s landlord. They shouldn’t be right for each other but they work, and Beckett (“Bucket”) is good with her kids. Her daughter, Aurora, is a hilarious bundle of energy.

Okay this book took me a long time to finish but it had nothing to do with the story! This book was super cute for fall time. I loved the two main characters and how they were obsessed with each other. I am not sure how to feel about the town participation though… it was a bit weird.

When a book makes you laugh and cry and swoon, it’s golden.
