So this is my first M/M book and I LOVED it!!! Seriously, the writing was great, the characters were great and the sexiness was awesome. Would love to read more about David and Wiley

Great story

Nothing is worse than having to lie and wait in the shadows. Always having to hide your true self is sometimes a fate worse than death. I loved the story!

Great short story about (supposed) unrequited love. Wiley is a cute character. The steam level is moderate to high, and well written, and the balance between steam and cuteness is on point.

Written only from David's POV, this is a sweet short story centered on the dreams, hopes, and fantasies of a young artist about his brother's - apparently - very straight best friend. But even though you never get Wiley's direct POV, the writing is so good that you are drawn also to him. This is a very well structured short story, and very enjoyable.

It's a cute premise, but I spent most of the story alternately yawning and rolling my eyes. There's not much plot, character development, or tension (sexual or otherwise), and nothing else to make the story interesting. A lot of the dialogue was exposition rather than conversation, which prevented any really meaningful interaction between the characters. The sex just isn't hot enough to carry even something this short. Also, I was very much not a fan of the way the backstory was presented.
SpoilerHomophobia and rejection as a lazy plot device to justify years of mutual unexpressed desire and create insta-UST? None for me, thanks.
