This is a useful book and a quick read for men who are either new to fatherhood or need a reminder how important, how essential, the father is to a young girl. I love how the author, Rick Johnson, shares his own struggles, challenges, and especially joys as a father. It reminded me that we will never be perfect at being fathers, because there is only one perfect Father. Johnson reminds the reader throughout the book that a closer walk with God will be a father's greatest tool for a closer walk with his daughter.
There were a few things I've read before in other books about being a godly father or being the best dad, etc. But still a delightful book that gave me a much-needed boost out of my rut.
