This was a birthday pressie from my friend who I dog walk for occasionally.... I’d never have thought to buy it for myself but I absolutely loved it. A light read with funny stories as well as heart warming ones to. Written in the style of Miranda sitcom so what I like to call ‘Such fun’

This was a fun, light read but once again I feel that a lot of the jokes were recycled from Miranda’s sitcom and first book.
I also sometimes find Miranda Hart’s humour so aggressively body positive and accepting that it becomes quite negative towards groups of people who ‘fit in’ with society’s ideals or enjoy things she doesn’t. This book opens with a key example of this, where she judges different types of dog walkers, acting as if she’s above them. Luckily, she does end up redeeming herself and the book by acknowledging the problems with these stereotypes.
Overall this is a fun read for pet lovers but felt too contrived and the humour too forced and repetitive a lot of the time.

I love the BBC program Miranda and find it pretty funny.

The book is in much the same tone, which is funnier to watch than to read. It felt like familiar material presented in an awkward format and I've read and finished 7 books since tabling this one. I don't think I'm going to finish it.
