Honestly, I was kind of sceptical when I discovered the story would follow Yellow's adventures instead of Red's... now I can say, that it did not disappoint. Following Amarillo del Bosque Verde (Yellow), is a, not so subtle, way to mix things up; but all the feels of the first three books are untouched. This installment doesn't just give a fresh look at the Pokémon universe, but it also adds new and curious powers, and praises the original characters.

As always: excellent character development, amazing illustrations, great humour, super scary villains, adorable Pokémons... it's got it all.

Yellow!! My child! This one honestly goes way harder than it needs to, especially that last chapter, I'm still reeling a bit from those reveals.

Good overall like Red and Blue arc but I feel that Yellow is a weaker character than Red, but has his own strengths and is nevertheless a good character
