A friends to lover trope is my absolute favorite. This book has that small town feel with its cozy characters, the perfect amount of drama, and the sexiness that as steam practically coming from the pages. Logan and Joeys back is my favorite from the series. It has been one of my highly anticipated books for a long time. And it was SO worth the wait. Logan is such a swoony guy. The way he loves Joey is passionate. Their love is what all fairy tales should be about. Reckless, sweet, sexy, and forever.

Another Lex Martin smash hit! I absolutely fell in love with this author after reading Shameless a few years ago, and she blew me away again with Breathless. She just has a way about sucking you into the world she has created and not letting you go. I love her writing style -- it's fresh and fun and comfy cozy. It feels like sitting down with your best friend and a bottle of wine on a Friday night, just gabbing and telling stories. The best!

Breathless was such a fun friends-to-lovers. I loved the little angsty moments that were tossed in, and the fun Texas charm of the story, and the raw emotions of each character. I found myself smiling on one page and then clutching my heart on the next -- and that's the sign of a good book!

I highly recommend Breathless and this author in general. Five stars!

I absolutely LOVED Joey and Logan’s story! This is going to be tough for me to review without giving anything away...I’ll just say if you love books about a girl that has always been in love with a boy who has never seen her...this is for you! If there is a secret...a huge secret that one person is keeping from another person (and it leaves a knot in your belly while reading) this is for you! This was such an amazing book! I feel a bit sad to leave this family, but Lex Martin is for sure an author that i would like to check out more. The writing, the charachters and everything inbetween is just so perfect and they feel so real and I love everything about it. Breathless follows Logan and Joey who we saw in Reckless, and loved, the second they came into the story.

The first part of the story when Logan realize how his feelings are changing, was so much fun. This book made me remember why I love Best friends to lovers so freaking much. The beginign stage where they are confussed, overwhelmed and struggle with their desire for the other. I had butterflies in my stomach, with the subtle touches, te talking and how he noticed her more and more. I think thats my favorite part of the whole book. The middle is more about them finding their groove and the whole secret thing from logan is playing out more and more. I was curious how they were going to play this out, and of course we all knew that she would find out by someonelse when he started to dragg his feet. I kind of knew who Zach was, but i still douted myself from time to time. Anways the book takes a suprising turn at the last strecth. I didn't saw the pyscho comming but it had me pretty shook. I don't really like how the after math follows, well maybe how it was suddenly resolved was a bit to rushed for me but overall I loved the ending, to see the wedding, the annoucment, the weird prom. It all just made me smile and feeling nice and warm.

I liked both characters so much, of course we already loved Logan, I didn't really knew Joey tough and she didn;t dissapoint. Her story was interesting and their chemestry was amzing, the banter and how they were friends really shone trough. The whole beach part was so cute and made me giggle. Her douts for Logan were understandeble but somthimes felt a bit forced for me. The puppy was verry cute and they all just really made me smile allot.

This series was so muhc fun to read, they all focus on family and love. I see myself rereading these books in the further. Lex martin did an amazing job and I will be checking her out more. I can't give it a full 5 stars because some part were a bit too sweet for me, I wanted them to dance around eachother a bit more. But still loved it !
