didn’t like it as much as ally’s book; star’s storyline seemed a bit inconsistent. I really liked flora’s story tho!!

The dual timeline is exceptionally well-crafted, with meaningful parallels between past and present. The historical research feels thorough and organic to the story. Character development is particularly strong

I don't care what Lucinda Riley says, Star is a lesbian, she's my lesbian and that's that. So far the sister I bonded with the most, even though the storyline wasn't my favourite and I predicted every twist.

The brilliant 3rd instalment of the Seven Sisters and by far the best. Both of the dual timelines had me hooked  with a cast of flawed but likeable characters.
