it took a minute to adjust to the 3rd person writing and a bit longer than usual to connect to the characters but i love harper so much, she’s an awesome human and i love how fierce she is. i was not a fan of her violating luke’s most painful traumas. whilst he should have already told her what had happened sometimes it takes time to let down those walls and open up, and although i would also want to snoop so badly it just felt wrong when she did that. that being said luke was a dumbass for refusing to admit that he obviously loved her but i understand the reasons behind why he was being like that. the 3rd act breakup was way more painful than i was expecting and the proposal through acts of service and words of affirmation at the end brought tears to my eyes. i loved this little town and i love aldo and gloria so much and can’t wait to read their book.
