This fun romp was effectively written with tongue firmly in cheek throughout. Dixie's main gig is ridding the world of bloodsuckers, but she moonlights as a high-priced courtesan because even a vampire hunter must pay her bills--especially when one with expensive tastes. In between mooning at her handsome roommate, Dixie, the product of a demon father and a human mother, pursues her two careers with bravery, flair, and efficiency. There is an interesting plot and the ending satisfies as it hints of future adventures.
